Creating cyanotypes with glass and ice

Recent work includes finding glass dishes from thrift stores and seeing how light refracts to create cyanotype cosmic and ocean like images.  With the cold temperatures in Montreal, I've started freezing water in Tupperware lids to try creating the images.

Casa Museu de Vilar

A 5 week research and creation project looking at blue Portuguese tiles (Azulejos) and murals in Lisbon, Porto and Sintra, thinking about how they can inform my cyanotype art work as well as being site specific artworks in a public, outdoor environment. 2 wonderful weeks were spent at Casa Vilar in northern Portugal, doing cyanotypes and learning how to make azulejos.
